Installing the ACRE and ACE MOD's for ARMA II Realism

-STEP ONE INSTALL SIX UPDATER

Go to http://www.six-updater.net/p/download.html and click the highlighted link in the image below.






-STEP TWO CREATING A PRESET

Start SIX UPDATER NOT SIX LAUNCHER, in the left hand box right click and create new preset. (You may want to right click it and rename it to "22ND Tactical Realism" for example)






-STEP THREE ADDING THE MODS

Select the Mods tab from the central region. In the top left of the region under "Clear Filter" there is a filter box, enter "@ace" into that box. It should show only one result, right click it and click "Add to preset", this will add @ace, @acex, @acex_pla, @acex_ru, @acex_sm, @acex_usnavy and @cba_co. Repeat these steps instead filter for "@ACRE", it will add @acre and @jayarma2lib.





-STEP FOUR INSTALLING THE MODS

In the top left corner there is a GREEN hexagon (6 Sided shape), beneath it there is a drop down box, click it then select "Install or Update Mods". MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE PRESET WITH THE @ACEs AND @ACRE IN! If prompted to add any extra files to external programs click yes, this will place the Teamspeak 3 plugin into the correct folder, enabling ACRE to work.






Ignore this being in another preset, it works the same.


-STEP FIVE RUNNING THE GAME

To run the game change the drop down box in the left hand corner to "Launch the game". MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT PRESET SELECTED!

Make sure you change the Beta option from being a solid square to a Tick. That is located just under the Server tab.
